2018 Excellence in School Nursing Award

It is with great pleasure that we announce JoDe Kinnaman as the recipient of the 2018 Excellence in School Nursing Award.  JoDe is the Health Coordinator for Head Start C&FDP in Hastings which includes Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Development Network and Sixpence and Migrant Education Program.  JoDe was nominated by Tonna Gilbert, QA Specialist for Head Start C&FDP and Deb Ross, Executive Director.  Her nominators state, “JoDe brings vitality and energy to the organization.  JoDe is a wonderful example of nursing in every aspect of her professional life. She is truly a star among nurses.” JoDe has been a school nurse for 20 years and is a member of NASN, NSNA and CNSA. She has served in leadership roles in NSNA and is currently serving on the conference planning committee. JoDe recently received national certification as a School Nurse.  JoDe will be recognized at the Nebraska School Health Conference on June 5th. Congratulations JoDe!
