NSNA Members-Looking for representatives for NMA Child Health & Obesity Policy Group

NSNA is asked to have representatives on the following group. Please volunteer if you are interested in this topic. Contact Wendy Rau at wrau@lps.org. Please see attached agenda for more information.
The NMA Child Health and Obesity Policy Group Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 16 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the LMEP office (4600 Valley Rd) in Lincoln, NE. A conference call line will be made available for those that are unable to attend in person (please be aware that by using this option we cannot guarantee the quality of the sound as it will be generated via a polycom phone speaker system). If you are able to attend in person we would encourage you to do so.
The agenda will include a presentation on the Nebraska Whole Child Project (flyer attached), a review of prior policy priorities and legislative efforts, followed by a discussion on the desire to take on any additional legislation this coming year. A finalized agenda will be sent prior to the meeting.
