Children’s Project ECHO: School Health Series Launching in October

Children’s will begin its next series of tele-mentoring, online educational sessions this fall through Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes). The 10 session series will focus on a variety of school health topics including “A School Health Approach to Asthma & Food Allergies,” Management of the Student with Epilepsy” and “Addressing the Needs of Students with Mental & Behavioral Health Concerns.” School nurses, school staff, primary care providers and community health partners are invited to join in Project ECHO. This inaugural school health series is aimed at sharing the latest information and evidence-based practices to improve student health outcomes across Nebraska.

Session will be held approximately every two weeks on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00pm CST and participants can attend from any location using Zoom technology. Follow www.ChildrensOmaha.org/ProjectECHO for updates and registration information.
