The Child Anxiety Learning modules (CALM) Study is a project sponsored by the US Department of Education that provides free training for nurses in brief interventions to reduce anxiety in elementary school students. The CALM program has been approved and implemented in schools all over the country, with preliminary results indicating that school nurses make a big difference for students who struggle with anxiety! We are currently recruiting nurses to be trained in the CALM programs for the 2023-24 school year. If you are interested in joining a summer training or want to learn more about the CALM study, please email calm@uchc.edu.

Attached is an informational flier.
