Nebraska School Nurses Association is looking for you to share your expertise in the following Leadership positions!
Expand your practice and network with a group of very knowledgeable School Nurses!
Great Leadership Opportunities in the following positions-- Email wrau@lps.org- brief letter of interest for the open position-
President Elect- 3yr term. President Elect-1yr, President-1yr, then Past President-1yr. As President Elect: assist the President as needed.
President: Runs Associations, Sets agenda for at least 2 Executive Board meetings, runs meetings, communicates with members via website, promotes School Nursing, promotes School Nurses Day, promotes Excellence in School Nursing Award.
Past President: assists President as needed. Accepts nominations for Excellence in School Nursing Award, recognizes outgoing Officers, serves on Planning committee of Annual conference, Conference Planning Chair for NSNA year to plan conference.
State Director Elect- Will take over as State Director after 1/2017 Board meeting-Each director shall serve a four-year term-Serves on NASN Board of Directors-Attend NASN board meetings and NASN Annual Conference serve as NSNA delegate. Communicate between NSNA and NASN. Promote School Nursing in Nebraska. Nomination submission to NASN of Winner of Excellence in School Nursing Award. Attend NSNA meetings and coordinator with President as needed.
Secretary--Keep minutes and reports of all meetings of the organization, roll call at meetings, maintain record books. Conduct general correspondence. Executive Board Member for NSNA. Promote School Nursing in Nebraska.
District Representative from Omaha/surrounding Area: Report to Board of NSNA at meetings or via report about any pertinent concerns or happenings
in district. Promote School Nursing in Nebraska.
