NASN Conference Mini Grant available/Due May 19th
Please consider submitting for a mini grant to cover attendance at the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) Annual Conference.
The purpose of the grant is to provide a stipend for NSNA members to attend the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) Annual Conference. Thewill be awarded to cover registration fee at NASN Conferencebased upon funds available. The following qualifications, criteria and expectations must be met:
Applicants must have been a member of the Nebraska School Nurses Association.for 1 year or longer.Applicants, whose attendance at the Annual Conference is already expected and/or funded, will not be considered. Grant will be awarded by the executive committee prior to Annual NASN Conference, with priority given to first-time attendees of the NASN conference and those members who have been active in the organization. Recipients may reapply in three years.
Applicants must submit their request for a mini grant in writing to the President of NSNA and include why the conference would benefit their school nurse practice, by May 19th.Applicants will be notified of awards by an Executive Board Member of NSNA.Mini grant recipients are expected to
Attend the NASN Annual Meeting as a delegate
Submit the following to the Treasurer:
- Receipts for expenses related to conference attendance
- A brief summary of their experience/personal benefit while attending the NASN Annual Conference to be posted on the NSNA Website
